OUR YOUTH PROGRAM
Created for children ages 14 – 18, The Youth Program combines three core elements; mindfulness, meditation and Reiki into a 1-1.5 hour, weekly group workshop. Our program is designed to engage, encourage and empower today’s young people and help build a foundation of life skills that will last a lifetime, from classroom to boardroom and beyond.
What is mindfulness? Practicing mindfulness is the act of developing and maintaining the awareness of the present moment. Through carefully designed exercises students are guided to developing a level of mindfulness from awareness of breath to an acute awareness of themselves and their surroundings. Developing mindfulness enhances our ability to focus, gain clarity and even relax when under pressure.
Meditation and mindfulness go hand in hand. In meditation, we learn to quiet our “monkey minds” and reach a level of inner peace. It is in this calm place that we can often let go of our fears as well as find our creative inspiration. We know that everyone learns differently and that with meditation techniques there is no “one size fits all” method. This is why our program incorporates multiple techniques from Vipassana meditation to creative visualization so that your child can comfortably find the practice that suits them and works best for them.
Reiki is a Japanese stress reduction practice that incorporates the eastern philosophy of chakra energy and maintaining the energy balance of the body. In Stillwater, students are taught the self-care techniques of this philosophy and learn about how the human body responds to emotional energy such as stress. Using Reiki students are empowered to maintain a sense of well-being and learn how to reduce the effects of stress on their mind and body which helps improve performance both academically and physically.

The Road to Success
The road to success begins at your fingertips. We can bring our program and workshop facilitators directly to you, making it incredibly easy and accessible. Whether it’s an after-school workshop or part of a pre-existing sports, academic or youth program you’re looking to augment, we can tailor fit to meet the needs of your group. OR, your child can join us for our Summer Program which runs July through August.
The Essentials- The Essentials Workshop is our basic program consolidated into a eight-week, group workshop. Class meets weekly for 2 hours (depending on age group). Each workshop consists of group activities and exercises, guided meditation and group discussion. Each session focuses on learning and understanding reiki and is followed by practicing specific mindfulness and meditation techniques. During the eight weeks, each participant will get a one-on-one consultation to help develop their personal practice plan. Full school year and summer only workshops are also available.
