January 2019 Horoscope January is a time for recovery. Treat what wounded you last year or what old wounds resurfaced so that you can move forward into 2019 with a sense of wholeness. Self- care was probably the trendiest term I heard used last year. It seems to imply a lot of bath taking and Netflix binging if you follow social media. However, self-care in terms of figuring out what you need in order to feel good and thrive is exactly what you need to focus on this month. 2018 brought challenges to our door step. Like the Hawaiian volcano that continued to erupt and then erupt some more, so did the purging of things that must be dealt with or let go of within our lives. Like the earth itself we were cracked open and pushed to extremes. We were pushed to grow, we were pushed to learn, rethink and re-evaluate. We were pushed to reconsider. The ways in which things needed to change came up and out into the spotlight. 2018 was a year of disruption, but the warning tremors were there all along. If you chose to listen then you had time to react, adapt and begin to make the changes required. If you chose to bury your head in the sand, then disruption may have struck like a wrecking ball. But disruption, however painful at times is necessary. It makes way for something new. Take a moment to look back over the past year and take stock in what you were meant to learn.
